Vessel’s hull damage survey

Steel scrap cargo always damages the vessel’s structure, hull and sometimes damages her cranes,

during loading, discharging and pressing the cargo after loading to use most space of the cargo holds.

That’s why we are hired to investigate every damage that the vessel’s Master make an LOP about,

our role is to find out who is responsible for every damage,

to avoid any irresponsible claimed damages for our client and save your money for cost of repair.

There is three kind of usual damages;

1- A hidden damage, which happen at loading port during loading the scrape cargo or pressing it after loading

2- Stevedore damage, which caused by stevedore at discharging port during discharging

3- per-existing damage, which is already exist before loading cargo, that why the on-hire condition report is so important to avoid the responsibility for those damages.

We make also a joint survey with all interested parties representatives

We make daily reports about the damages with all details, attached with damage photos which taken by our experienced site surveyors
