Ullage survey before discharge / after loading

Vessel’s Hull Damage Survey
Steel scrap cargo always damages the vessel’s structure, hull and sometimes damages her cranes, during loading, discharging and pressing the cargo after loading to use most space of the cargo holds. Bunker Surveys Before and After Supply
The S.O.I surveyors conduct bunker survey before and after supply (usually at Suez anchorage). This kind of survey is intended to make sure that the amount of bunker ( Fuel Oils and Gas Oils ) supplied from the barge or shore tanks is the same as being contracted between the vessel owner/charter and the supplier. We check the trim, make sounding for all bunker tanks for both vessel and supply barge, before bunker supply and repeat same work after bunker supply. We avoid our Client any bunker shortage, assure that the vessel received the nominated quantity. We also supervise bunker sampling during supply to assure the bunker quality (if required).

Hatch Cover Watertight Testing
We test hatch cover water-tightness to ensure that the cargo holds can carry the cargo without risk of seawater leaks during the sea voyage. Nondestructive methods of watertight inspection using hose test or ultrasonic test, prior to loading and also could be conducted as part of the vessel’s technical condition survey.

Tallying Service
cargo piece count (bagged cargo, all steel products, general and frozen cargoes) throughout the process of loading or discharging to / from vessel holds, rail wagons or trucks; rejecting of damaged bags, cases, units etc, supported by daily reports, tally sheets and Final Tally Report. Paint separation or marking of the cargo loaded onboard is also performed.
