Sealing / Unsealing Survey
The S.O.I surveyors perform sealing for hatch covers and manholes at loading port after loading completion,
to prevent UN-authorized access to the vessel’s cargo-carrying compartments during the voyage.
And issue an “Hold Closure Seal Certificate” with a detailed description of each seal location.
Also we make unsealing survey at discharging port, to make sure that all seals are intact, and no access had been made to the cargo holds.
